Just Network Meter

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Just Network Meter ("the app") is an Android app that shows your network speed in the status bar, published by Arah Labs on Google Play. This policy covers the version of the app distributed through Google Play. It explains what the app reads, what it keeps, and the rights you have. It is published at https://networkmeter.arahlabs.com/privacy-policy.

In short: Arah Labs does not collect your data. The app has no internet access, so it cannot send anything off your phone. It reads your phone's total traffic counters to calculate the speed, keeps only your meter settings, and has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. It never sells or shares data.

1. Who we are

Just Network Meter is made by Arah Labs, Indonesia. For privacy questions or any request under section 7, contact support@arahlabs.com.

2. What the app reads and keeps

Everything below stays on your device. None of it is sent to Arah Labs or anyone else.

DataWhyKept?
Your phone's total number of bytes sent and received, as reported by AndroidTo calculate the current download and upload speedNo. Each reading is used for the next calculation and then discarded. No history is kept.
Meter settings (style, text size, unit, scale, arrows, update interval, and the on/off options)To remember your choicesYes, on your device

The traffic counters are device-wide totals. The app cannot see which apps, websites or people your phone talks to, and it does not read the content of any traffic.

3. Data sent over the internet

None. The app does not request Android's internet permission, so it has no way to connect to the internet. It contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. Because nothing is collected or transferred, there is no processing that needs a legal basis and no international data transfer.

4. Android backup

Your meter settings may be included in Android's own backup and device-to-device transfer, so they come back when you set up a new phone. This backup is created and stored by Google under your Google account settings, not by Arah Labs, and Arah Labs cannot access it. The settings contain no personal data. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.
